State’s
Industrial Policy
The
State’s Industrial Policy was framed / announced for the first time on
The
salient features of the policy were aimed at safe guarding the interest of the
local tribals, promotion of pollution free industries like electronics and
horticulture based industries projects.
Package Scheme of Incentives
Based
on the State’s Industrial Policy of 1988, a number of Package Scheme of
Incentives was made available to local industrial units ranging for a period of
5 years in case of Small Scale and 7 years for certain items in case of Large
and Medium Scale Industries.
Export Promotion Industrial Parks
The
very innovative scheme of Export Promotion Industrial Parks (E.P.I.P.) has been
taken up for implementation at Byrnihat with the objective to boost up Export
Oriented Industrial Project.
The
scheme is shared between the Centre and the State on 80:20 basis.
Single Window Agency
In order to accelerate the pace of Industrial Development the Single Window Agency has been constituted consisting of all concerned Departments, Organisations so that an Entrepreneur will face a minimum of formalities in a short span of time.
